The Hudson Valley Shiso Syrup™ has a unique sweetened botanical flavor. It is derived from a traditional Japanese recipe enjoyed in Japan for more than 1,000 years. It strengthened the Samurai and has many healthy benefits: it  is rich in antioxidants and vitamins and has been used as a homeopathic treatment for digestive disorders, asthma, coughs, colds, and pain.

The Hudson Valley Shiso Farm™ is dedicated to produce the finest, authentic Shiso Syrup using natural ingredients. Our Story

The concept of the Hudson Valley Shiso Farm began in 2000 when we purchased 50 pristine acres with a mission to both cultivate and promote the healthy, flavorful and aromatic Japanese herb called Shiso.  Our mission is to introduce and promote this unique and healthy herb to a wider health-conscious community by creating carefully handcrafted Shiso products.  Our first flagship product is a versatile flavorful Shiso Syrup.  

The Hudson Valley Shiso Farm is located in the beautiful rolling countryside of Columbia County, New York.  Columbia County strongly resembles the English Lake District.  Established in 2013 the Hudson Valley Shiso Farm strives to introduce greater appreciation for this versatile and aromatic Japanese herb.
